Andrew Garfield’s filmography has inspired many starlets within and outside the industry. Before finding fame as an actor, Andrew Garfield participated in swimming and gymnastic activities in his younger age. Even though he took up acting lessons at the age of nine in Guildford, Surrey, England, his original intention was to major in business but he quickly switched his interest to acting at the age of sixteen after his friend encouraged him to give Theatre Studies a try at A-level.
During the period he was studying in Guildford, Andrew was able to bag a role in the stage production of Bugsy Malone which was produced by a youth theatre. He later joined an Epsom, Surrey-based youth theatre workshop group before moving to the UK conservatoire – the Central School of Speech and Drama – where he spent three years.
Garfield passed out with his mates in 2004 and started lending his expertise to stage acting. In 2004 alone, the actor featured in the theatrical productions of Mercy (as Deccy) and Kes (as Billy) at the Soho Theatre and Manchester Royal Exchange respectively until 2005 when he earned his first TV role in the teen thriller drama, Sugar Rush.

The project was created based on the happenings in the book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal, which was written in 2009 by Ben Mezrich. Red Riding (2009)
Red Riding is one of the best television series Andrew Garfield has starred in. Garfield played the role of Eddie Dunford in three episodes of the series which aired on the British TV network, Channel 4.

It was written by Robert Schenkkan and Andrew Knight and directed by and follows Doss (a soldier) as he becomes rejected and an outcast among his fellow soldiers for objecting to train on Saturdays and handle a rifle. In the long run, he is honored and celebrated for saving 75 soldiers at Hacksaw Ridge.

Andrew Garfield was cast as a lead character, playing Robin Cavendish while Claire Foy played the role of Diana Cavendish, Robin’s loving wife. Garfield’s performance in this biographical film met the expectations of the audience while a handful of film review sites gave the film an average score. Directed by , Breathe was made with a decent budget of $4 million and earned $15 million at the box office.
Lions for Lambs (2007)
Despite the presence of Hollywood heavyweights such as Meryl Streep, Robert Redford, Tom Cruise, and almost doubling the total amount that was invested in its making, Lions for Lambs is considered one of the worst war films in the movie industry. It earned disappointing scores on most film review sites including Rotten Tomatoes where it received 27% score approval.
