Casemiro is a Brazilian soccer player who has risen to become one of the most important players for both his national team and club, Real Madrid C.F. Casemiro Biography
Even though he has become known all over the world among lovers of football as Casemiro, the player was actually born Carlos Henrique Casimiro on 23 February 1992 in the Brazilian city of São José dos Campos. It was also here that he grew up playing street soccer. As a result of how poor his family was, Casemiro was always passing the night in the home of relatives including his aunt and grandmother because his house was too small to contain them all.
Before he became a teenager, he had already worked hard on the path that would set him to become one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, and by the age of 14, he had already got a youth club.
Even though his surname is Casimiro, the name Casemiro was mistakenly typed on his jersey and it stuck on him.
Family
The Brazilian defensive midfielder was raised as the first child of his parents, Magda de Faria Casemiro and Servando Casimero. Like many other football stars to come out of Brazil, Carlos Henrique Casimiro was raised in a very poor family mainly by his mother as his father wasn’t there.
As a result of this, he was forced with his two younger brothers to take care of themselves and rely on the very little that their mother could provide for them.
He got married in 2014 to Anna Mariana Casemiro and together, they have a daughter. Anna Mariana is a make-up artist in Brazil. The couple tied the knot in Itatiba, Brazil on June 28, 2014, and their first child, a daughter named Sara came in 2016.
The defensive midfielder and Anna Mariana Casemiro are said to have been dating since 2011.
Football Career
As regards his career as a professional footballer, Casemiro began his club football as a youth with the São Paulo FC. That was in 2002 and he remained with the club until 2010 when he moved to the senior team for the next 3 years. After his stay with the Brazilian club, he moved on loan to the Real Madrid B in 2013. That same year, after just 15 games, he was moved to the senior team on a loan but the move was almost immediately made permanent. In 2014, he was sent on loan to Porto, only to return to Real Madrid again in 2015.
By the end of the 2017/2018 season, he had already recorded 90 games for the club and in the process, he scored 10 goals even as a defensive midfielder.
With the Spanish League side, Casemiro won a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey, and 4 UEFA Champions League in five years. He has also won 2 UEFA Super Cup and 2 FIFA Club World Cup. Finally, he also has the Supercopa de España among his titles.
Carlos Henrique Casimiro made his national debut in 2009 when he played for the Brazilian Under-17 team and in 2011, he played for Under-20 team with which he recorded 3 goals after 15 games. Also in 2011, he got the call to play for the senior team. Before he got called for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, he had already played 20 games for the team but he is yet to record a goal.
With the national team, he won the South American Youth Championship in 2011 and the FIFA U-20 World Cup also in the same year. Also, he has recorded some achievements on an individual level such as making the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season in 2017 and the FIFPro World XI third team also in 2017.
