On February 20, 1993, Christian Guzman was welcomed into the world by his parents in Houston, Texas. Details about his family members are not known, however, it is known that he has a younger brother.

As a child, Guzman did not show any signs of being interested in sports. He was instead carried away with music, as he learned how to play the guitar and harbored hopes of making a career out of it. He and some of his friends from school went ahead to form a rock band but the group soon disbanded. He then went on to form another one, and as the story goes, he and his new bandmates agreed to meet three times a week to exercise and get fit, in order to help their eventual claim to fame.

During the course of their fitness training, Christian Guzman fell in love with it and soon began bodybuilding regularly. After a while, the young man who was noted to have been quite skinny began adding muscles as his body began to transform. The visible transformation he saw prompted him to abandon his music ambitions as he started to document and film his workout routine which he began posting on YouTube in 2012 as a freshman at Texas Christian University (TCU).

From 2011 to 2013, Guzman attended TCU where he studied health and fitness management as he developed his own fitness program. The fitness buff did not end up completing the requirements for a degree as demands in his fitness business increased. The YouTuber later added a lifestyle apparel brand to the company which he described as “athleisure”. His customers have described the clothing line as affordable and of high quality.

Alphalete Athletics has been featured at international bodybuilding events and is sold worldwide. The success of the company has led him to open a gym in his hometown of Houston called Alphalete Gym.
