Crystal Renay Williams was born on September 18, 1989, she is of a mixed ethnic background of African-American, Italian, and Spanish. She grew up in a ‘not so good’ neighborhood in Fort Myers, Florida. There is no info about her family – parents or siblings or education. Renay revealed in an interview that she started supporting herself at a young age by working in the medical field before she took up modeling. Things got better after she moved to Los Angeles in 2011.

In what was a business meeting turned romantic relationship, the two hit it off so well and ended up becoming lovers and getting tattoos within a few weeks of their relationship.
Speaking about how the marriage proposal came, Renay said they were in a hotel room cozying up on each other when Neyo popped the question without a ring at first. On her birthday, the 30-year old received a re-proposal with a fancy diamond ring. While their love life seems so perfect, the fact that there is an ex-fianceé Monyetta Shaw, Ne-Yo’s baby mama made it a little awkward and controversial.
However, Crystal Renay said she and Ne-Yo told Shaw about their engagement prior to posting it on social media. According to her, “at my request…at my requirement, he told her way before that. I like her as a person. I would never allow her to be blindsided by something from the media instead of hearing it from us first. NEVER.” It was alleged that the two women had a controversial feud and she got a warning from Neyo’s ex. But Renay debunked the rumour saying it was a misconception that people wanted both women not to like each other.
As part of her newfound fabulous lifestyle, Ne-Yo bought her a stunning crib in LA and they got married in Palos Verdes, California, a month before they welcomed their son Prince SJ.
