Dean Ambrose’s Bio and Age
Dean is a professional American wrestler and actor whose real name is Jonathan David Good. He was born on December 7, 1985, in Cincinnati, Ohio. His father worked in Indianapolis, 70 miles away from the Cincinnati’s East End public housing where Dean spent most of his childhood with his mother. Their neighbourhood was one best described as rough and this had a significant impact on Dean.
To escape the rough life that was prevalent around him, Dean Ambrose took to watching wrestling videotapes which he had a penchant for and used it as a means to avoid getting involved in the wrong things that had the tendency to mar his life. He idolized Beret Hart as a child as he was one of the best wrestlers at that time.
Career Beginnings
Going to school wasn’t really his thing as he dropped out of high school just a year after beginning his training as a wrestler. Initially, as a teenager, he was working for Les Thatcher at the Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA) where he helped to set the ring before wrestling matches and sold popcorn afterwards.
His training at HWA commenced when he turned 18 years old. He had Thatcher and Cody Hawk as his trainers then. He made his debut ring appearance in 2004 with the stage name – Jon Moxley. A year into his career, Dean Ambrose teamed up with Jimmy Turner to form the tag team “Necessary Roughness.” They won their first championship title on May 11, 2005, when they defeated Mike and Track Desire of the “Extreme Desire” tag team. He later left his partner to form a new tag team with Ric Bryne called “Heartland Foundation.” With his new partner, they didn’t enjoy much success as the only title they won was stripped from them the same day they won it.
Dean formed and joined a couple of wrestling teams for the ensuing number of years that followed, they won some championships and won some at various times. In all this, he was getting himself ready for his big career move in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
He signed his development deal in the WWE on April 4, 2011, joining WWE’s developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). His first televised appearance was on July 3 when he fought Seth Rollins, a prominent independent wrestler then. The match ended in a draw.
He continued fighting in the WWE, winning and losing some matches along the line. But in all, people loved his style of fighting and this resulted in his fan base increasing tremendously. He became WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the 2015/16 season by successfully defeating Roman Reigns twice to retain the title.
Family – Wife, Girlfriend
Dean Ambrose when he began wrestling newly had Hellena Heavenly as his girlfriend. She was a wrestler and was quite older than him in the wrestling sports. They didn’t get along too fine and had to end the relationship.

They seemed like a couple that was just perfect for each other and it wasn’t long till they proved it to the public by getting married on April 9, 2017.
