The blog, which as of this writing is defunct, was named The Trend Pear. One has it that they were introduced to each other by Tomlinson’s One Direction bandmate, Hary Styles, and the other claims that Calder was friends with someone who knew the management of One Direction and would subsequently introduce them to each other.
