Josh Hartnett is an American actor whose career has spanned over two decades. His first role of prominence was in 1997 in the television series, Cracker. He went on to appear in The Faculty (1998), Pearl Harbor and Lucky Number Slevin (2006) amongst others.

Josh Hartnett was born on July 21, 1978, in Minnesota to the family of Thomas Hartnett and Wendy Anne. He was raised in a Roman Catholic home and has two brothers and a sister.
