Among his many career achievements since he burst into the scene, it has been noted that he has the most extraordinary swing which many still can’t tell he manages to achieve. In what has become a signature move, Freddie is often seen moving his shoulders slightly before lowering his hands to take the swing.
The champ had his high school education at the El Modena High School and left a good mark as one of the best third basemen and pitchers the team has ever had. Finishing really well, he was named 2007 Player of the Year by The Orange County Register, a daily newspaper. He took the title again in September of the same season.
The champ’s prowess declined in 2017 when he ended the season with the lowest stats since he was signed.
