Though professionally known as Miley Ray Cyrus, her birth is actually Destiny Hope Cyrus. She picked up her middle name in honour of her grandfather Ronald Ray Cyrus, a Kentucky-born politician while her first name “Miley” was coined from her nickname “Smiley”. Her parents gave her the moniker because she was smiling as an infant.
Miley came from and Leticia (Tish) Jean Finley’s romantic relationship. While Billy is an iconic country singer, Tish is an accomplished actress with numerous projects to her name. Following her successful outing in the series, Miley, in 2006, embarked on a music tour as Hannah Montana with The Cheetah Girls, performing songs from the series’ first season.
