American music producer Suge Knight is no doubt a man with lots of drama in his life. His story is that of from grace to grass as he has been associated with countless name tarnishing occurrences in the music industry.

His Days Of Glory

Born Marion Hugh Knight, Jr on April 19, 1965. He grew up in Los Angeles and in high school, he played football which earned him a scholarship to El Camino College in 1983. In 1985, Knight transferred to the University of Las Vegas from where he graduated in 1987. He became popular in the 1990’s for the record label Death Row Records which he co-founded with Andre Young popularly known as Dr. Dre. His record label turned hip-hop artists like Tupac Shakur Outlaw, Tha Dogg Pound and into stars with the release of albums like Dre’s The Chronic (1992), Snoop’s Doggystyle (1993), Dogg Food (1995) and Tupac’s All Eyez on Me (1996).

Controversies & Feuds

During his rise in the music industry, Knight was in a constant feud with other rappers and their labels like Eazy-E, P. Diddy and The Notorious B.I.G. Knight publicly trashed other producers like P.Diddy for improper management of their artist and for the excessive appearance in the artist’s album which he condemns. Things got pretty messy in 1996 when Tupac was murdered in cold blood on the streets of Las Vegas, Nevada, followed by a similar manner in the murder of a rival artist, The Notorious B.I.G in Los Angeles, California on March 9, 1997. The producer was first accused of killing The Notorious B.I.G as revenge for Tupac’s murder but was later on accused of killing Tupac first and then murdered his rival artist as a cover-up.

In addition to these allegations, his business partner Dr. Dre was displeased with the thuggish behavior in the label and decided to leave. He created his own which he called Aftermath. Snopp Dogg also left the record label in 1998 and slammed Knight in a song he released as being a police informant that’s why he never gets caught for his crimes.

In January 2015, the producer’s car hit Terry Carter, the co-owner of Heavyweight Records which left him dead and the second victim Cle “Bone” Sloan sustained severe injuries. Los Angeles police arrested him and he was charged with murder and sent to jail until the trial is finalized.

Suge Knight Wife, Son, Kids

The producer’s personal life is no different than his business life which is a chaos. He was married to Sharitha Golden but before ending the marriage officially with her, he got married (obviously a fake one) to Michel’le, an R&B singer who was signed with Death Row Records.

Knight has a record of a long list of women with whom he has had children with over the years. It is not an easy puzzle to fix when it comes to the Gangstar’s paternity. His oldest son born 1991 is Taj Knight whom he had with a music producer named Davina Barnes. He has another son Suge Jacob Knight born in 1995. Jacob is a music producer and owner of the record label OverKnight Entertainment but no details are known about his mother. He also has a daughter Posh Knight whose mother no one knows about.

Suge Knight and Michel’le have a child whose name is Bailei Knight and his youngest son recorded so far is Legend Knight whose mother is also unknown.
