Meanwhile, the ESPN anchor has recently been involved in a widely publicised sex scandal involving the former ESPN analyst, Adrienne Lawrence who filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him claiming that he invited her to his home and tried to woo her in the name of mentoring her. She also claimed to have approached the cable channel’s human resource department on the matter but instead of resolving it, they tried to protect Buccigross’ reputation by covering his intimidating intent.
Adrienne produced text a message sent to her by John where he allegedly said “I’m a white boy and I’m jacked,” as an evidence against him. The lawsuit also stated that John alongside other men at the ESPN ogles their female colleagues without any intervention from the company. While John is yet to release a statement on the issue, the ESPN spokesperson denied all the allegations.
