Josh Mccown is an American football player with a jaw-dropping net worth. His parents are Pat and Robin Mccown. Josh has as his siblings; retired NFL quarterback Luke Mccown and former Texas A&M quarterback Randy Mccown.
He began schooling with his peers at Jacksonville High School and after school hours, he would be found in their family ranch in Jacksonville, Texas. Josh Mccown grew rapidly as he was already 5 feet 4 inches when he was 16. His rapid growth aided his football career as he began shooting up in the second half of his junior year. At this same time, he was also playing basketball which saw him in his senior year, named among the All-District second team as a shooting guard.
Begining in the year 1998 when he gained admission to study history, Josh Mccown began his college football career playing for the SMU Mustangs of Southern Methodist University through the year 2000. His three seasons with the Mustangs saw him posting impressive records some of which were then, the highest in SMU history.
In his final year, Josh transferred to the Sam Houston State University where he played for the Sam Houston State Bearkats. With this new team, he exceeded his cumulative three seasons record in SMU in just his first season. As you would expect, the Sam Houston State Bearkats finished the season with a 10-3 record winning and thus emerged the Southland Football League co-champions with McNeese State. Josh Mccnow earned for himself the SFL Player of the Year award, a First Team All-SFL honors in 2001, and a Third Team Division I-AA All-American by The Sports Network.
Josh Mccown in the third round of the 2002 NFL Draft, got drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as the 81st overall pick and was the fourth quarterback selected in the draft. He played with the Cardinals beginning in the year 2002 to 2005 when he left. Come March 2006, his career saw him playing for the Detroit Lions where he signed a two-year contract worth $6 million. By the end of the 2006 season, he asked to be traded as he was not playing often in the position of a quarterback which he prefers. From the Lions, he joined the Oakland Raiders on April 28, 2007.
Treadwell played with the Raiders for the rest of 2007 and by February 29, 2008, he signed a $6.25 million contract with the Miami Dolphins. He played with them till August 29, 2008, when the Carolina Panthers brought him home to their side. For two years, he was loyal to the Panthers till he moved again to the Hartford Colonials, later to San Francisco 49ers, followed by the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns before we caught up with him at the New York Jets where he has been since March 20, 2017
