Kelly Ann Cicalese began her professional career not long after she graduated from college. Her first stint was with a CBS affiliate in Cheyenne, Wyoming called KGWN. Before then, she interned at WWOR-TV. While at KGWN, Kelly was able to acquaint herself with the modus operandi of her profession. She covered several trending issues as regards weather in Colorado.
For her outstanding coverage of Colorado flooding in 2013, she was honored with the Best Weather Broadcaster’s Award by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters. From there, she proceeded to WSAZ-TV, situated in Huntington, West Virginia. Here, she became the host of the 4 pm, 5:30 pm, and 10 pm news weather reports.
After spending nearly three years at WSAZ-TV, she was hired by the Boston-based station, WCVB-TV in 2016. There, she began working as a part of the station’s Storm Team 5. She is always seen on the streets during thunderstorms, tornadoes, and heavy snow doing what she knows how to do best with a microphone in hand.
