Although the identity of his biological dad is not known, his mum has been accurately identified as Jackie who earned a living as a high school teacher. She was a native of Astoria but unfortunately, she died at the age of 45 from the ravages of cancer. The ESPN sportscaster has a stepdad named Dave Robertson – a Shadle Park high school basketball coach and winner of a state title in 1981. Neil spent his formative years at Spokane, Washington but it is not known whether he has siblings or is an only child.
Although he was named Neil Everett Morfitt at birth, he decided to stick to his middle name of Everett as a professional last name as a tribute to his deceased mum who usually called him by his first and middle name whenever he went out of line. As a growing child, he had a habit of sticking a toy microphone to his chest which is an indication of his future profession. According to reports, he used to capture little sharks with ordinary hands and consume them alive and whole.
His early education was accomplished at Lewis and Clark High School where he graduated from in 1980. During his high school days, he was a sport stand out in both basketball and football where he played for the Tigers as a starter, as well as on the defensive line and was named to the all-city team in soccer at guard. He tied the nuptials with his partner Stephanie Krohn on the 18th of July 2013 in a beach wedding well attended by family and close friends. Although their affair flourished after they met at a fundraising ceremony for the Centre, it was not the first time they were meeting. They actually passed through the same college, the duo was sweethearts for five years before deciding to seal their relationship in a lavish marriage ceremony.
Presently, they are living in conjugal bliss without any fear of separation or divorce. As for kid’s, they don’t have any for now but the situation may yet change in the future since they are still going strong as a couple.
