A Brief Bio
The fashion/beauty guru/ Youtube star was born on the 17th of May, 1990 in Canada as Samantha Tomlensen. She has two siblings – an older sister called Chelsey and a younger brother Derrek.
Though not much is know about her parents, Sam has, however, mentioned about them in her videos. Her mom Stacy is equally a beautiful woman and one that commands admiration with her looks. She addresses her mom as her best friend, someone she confides in and never keeps secrets from. Her dad has achieved a lot and has her respect as well.
Growing up, she was very protective of her younger brother, Derrek. She enjoyed custard as a child and watched lots of TV as a teenager. She was one of the brightest kids in her class back in high school, and her best subject then was mathematics.
Sam lived with her family in Canada before moving in with her boyfriend Dahltyn – with whom she plans to have a family with in the near future.

The YouTuber decided to take her destiny into her hands and carve a nitch for herself as a Youtuber in September 2009, when she floated her own Youtube channel – Piinksparkles. She, however, didn’t upload her first video till about eight months later (May 2010).
Her first video titled 3 quick and easy hairstyles for school, received about 150k likes and soon earned about 5k subscribers. She has maintained the channel and kept her fans visiting by uploading interesting and fascinating videos ranging from beauty and makeup tutorials to shopping hauls. Sam is also a fashion guru who often makes videos of different sites showing their latest reviews of products. Apart from Piinksparkles, she also owns two others YouTube channels – PinkBarbieDolly and sockzVSbarbie. On PinkBarbieDolly, she uploads vegan recipes and some other routine vlogs. ‘SockzVSBarbie’ is a collaborative gaming and challenge channel which she co-runs with her brother Derrek.
