Born Richard Brandon Giannotti on August 9, 1983, his life story begins in his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a boy, Richard always showed a love for sports and all things athletic. He, however, only started to really participate in the sport of baseball when he got to college.
For his high school education, Giannotti was enrolled at St. Thomas High School. It was located in his hometown of Ft. Lauderdale. After graduating from St. Thomas, he was given an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Miami. There, he studied Business Administration and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree for his course of study.
While at Miami, he started to play baseball and improved consistently. This led to him clinching the Florida State-wide title of the best All-State Outfielder. He was instrumental to the many wins his team racked up during his time there.
Richard Giannotti’s performances apparently caught the eyes of some teams in the MLB. In 2004, Giannotti attained pro baseball status after he was selected by the Anaheim Angels during the year’s MLB draft exercise. The team was renamed to The Los Angeles Angels in January of 2005. His time there led to a nine-year career as a professional player in Major League Baseball. It also saw him turn out for several other teams before the end of his career in 2012. Throughout his career, his colleagues and teammates almost always only had good things to say about him as a mentor and friend.
While still a pro baseballer, Richard Giannotti found the time to put his University degree to good use. In September of 2008, he became co-owner of Bubucheek Clothing, a clothing line operating out of his home State. He worked with the clothing outfit from that time up until September 2014.
The following month, he decided to put his business administration skills to use to help players in his sport. Having experienced too many players go bankrupt after a lucrative playing career, he established Athlete Asset Management at Global Wealth Management. Again, deciding to pit shop in his hometown, the company stands and operates as a financial adviser to help active athletes manage and increase their wealth through smart investments. Richard serves in the capacity of President and Financial Adviser for the management and investment outfit.

The couple was supposed to have a fairytale life, however, the marriage didn’t survive the test of time. They called it quits in early 2018. Joy Taylor moved on with another sportsman, former NBA player and coach, Earl Watson. The two are currently engaged.
