The handsome and charming Scott Speedman is known for his role in the 1998 drama series Felicity and his breakthrough film – the gothic horror thriller – Underworld where he played the role of Micheal Corvin. Scott Speedman who is of British-Canadian decent is said to have been interested in becoming a professional swimmer and was even a member of the Canadian Junior Swim Team that competed in 1992 Olympic tournament in which he emerged 9th place. He later suffered a major neck injury that marked the end of his athletic career in swimming and he had to switch to acting.

Speedman’s first attempt to land a role was in the film Batman Forever in which he was aspiring for the part of Robin but he lost out to Chris O’Donnell, however, he was able to land other TV and film roles. His film debut was in the Canadian series Net Worth and in 1998, he featured in the hit drama series Felicity in which he played the role of a college student named Ben Covington which got the attention of a lot of filmmakers and in no time Scott was seen in several other films.

In 2000, he was in the film Duet alongside Hollywood actress . He was also in the movie Dark Blue as a novice LAPD investigator, the film My Life Without Me in 2003 and many other interesting films.

Scott no doubt is enjoying a flourishing career as an actor and has no regrets for his switch of career. He is even currently starring in the series Animal Kingdom and has made an appearance in the sitcom Grey’s Anatomy this year.

At the moment sources believe that he is in a relationship with Kirsten Wigg whom he started dating back in 2014. Kirsten who is also an actress like his previous partners is famous for Saturday Night Live between 2005-2012 and playing the role of Annie Walker in the film Bridesmaids released in 2011.
