When you look up the name Sebastian Bach, you are bound to come across two music personalities. One is Johann Sebastian Bach, a classical music composer popularly referred to as a genius. The other is a singer born as Sebastian Philip Bierk and known for his expertise in heavy metal. His claim to fame came with his being a frontman of the band, Skid Row within a time frame of 9 years (1987-1996). He is also an actor and a songwriter.
Sebastian Philip Bierk known in the professional quarters as Sebastian Bach was born in the industrial capital of Bahamas, the Northwest city of Freeport on the 3rd of April, 1968. Little Sebastian moved to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada with his family and was raised there. As a child, he loved music so much that it’s no wonder he was a chorister.
At age 14, Sebastian did an audition with Kid Wikkid and was taken on as part of the group. He remained a member till 1985, two years before he joined Skid Row. As widely known, the singer’s rise to stardom came with his joining the New Jersey band in the year 1987. He had quite a swell time with the band until he got fired following some disagreements with other band members in 1996. In between Kid Wikkid and Skid Row, he served as the lead singer of Madam X (a band).
Bach has gone on to take part in a number of other projects since then. This includes forming the band known as The Last Hard Men which made a music album that unfortunately sold only a 1000 copies. Luckily, he has other albums which mostly turned out as successes both financially and otherwise. He also delved into Broadway and made appearances on Jekyll & Hyde in 2000 and in Jesus Christ Superstar as Jesus of Nazareth between 2002 and 2003. The artist has also done some television host gigs just as he has featured in some series such as the Gilmore Girls.

Sebastian Bach has a very interesting and talented family. His dad, David Bierk who is also an artist, doubles as Peterborough’s Artspace co-founding member and as a Director. His sister is Heather Dylan Bierk, a successful Model with an international experience in two continents, Europe and North America. Dylan also dabbles in acting with several short films to her name. She currently lives in Toronto and also serves as a host on some TV shows.
Sebastian’s brother is a goaltender for professional hockey having recorded playtime with both Minnesota Wild and Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League.

In the middle of the 1980s, Sebastian met and began dating a fine lady named Maria Aquinar. Maria is a fitness expert, model, and TV show host. Things got pretty serious between the duo and in a few years, the first sound of a child was heard. Their first son, Paris Bierk, was born in 1988.
In 1992, the couple decided to tie the knot and two years later, Maria gave birth to London, their second son. After London’s arrival, it seemed like they took a chill pill on childbirth and when finally their daughter came in 2007, they ditched their naming pattern and called her Sebastiana Maria. Sadly, three years later (in September 2010), Sebastian and Maria divorced for reasons best known to them.
December that same year (2010), the singer started seeing Minnie Gupta and in April 2012, he got engaged to the model. Well, things didn’t turn out so rosy – the couple parted ways in late 2014. Barely two months after, Sebastian engaged yet another lady named Suzanne Le on her birthday on the 28th of December 2014. He married her in August 2015 and the duo has stayed married till date. The couple lives together in their Los Angeles home in California.
Unlike his classical musical namesake, Sebastian has only 3 children, a poor score compared to 20. Despite having been connected with three women, his three children come from his first wife, Maria Aquinar.
