Romo graduated from Brawley Union High School in 2001. He had no scholarship offers and this made him consider following in his father’s footsteps and enlisting for the U.S Navy. Sergio Romo’s Wife, Family
Sergio Romo got married to his wife, Chelsea Codlin when she was still in college. Chelsea was born on November 15, 1982, in Arizona to Ronald and Sharyn Codlin. The couple spent the early part of their marriage apart from each other because Romo was always away on tours. He toured the south on his low ball tour of duty. Chelsea acknowledged in an interview that it was very difficult for her at that time of her marriage. The distance was a big strain in their relationship as husband and wife.
She has been supportive of her husband even before he became a superstar. It looks like Chelsea is not really a fan of the social media because you hardly find details of her life there. Seems like she is satisfied leaving the spotlight for her husband. They have two sons named Rilen Serge Romo who was born in 2006 and the second Rex Ryder Romo who was born in September 2011.
