Brief Facts on Justin Timberlake
Whether it is singing, dancing, combine the both or give him a script, will deliver and make it look so easy as if it didn’t take him a lot to be a master entertainer today. From child star to an adult TV sensation, he has always been good at doing what he knows how to do best. He is an accomplished American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer just to mention a few.
He was born on the 31st of January 1981 and named Justin Randall Timberlake in Memphis, Tennessee. His parents are Randall “Randy” Timberlake and Lynn Bomer who raised him up as a Baptist choir member in Shelby Forest where he spent his childhood. In his family were a couple of musicians who encouraged his young and beautiful talent. His grandfather taught him how to play the guitar and also introduced him to songs made by and Johnny Cash at the time. His father on his own part introduced him to songs made by bands like Eagles and Queen. His parents however divorced in 1985 and both remarried. They still maintained the relationship between them.
The 2018 Super Bowl Halftime performer began his music career on the floor of the New Mickey Mouse Club, starring the likes of Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. In 1995 he joined the pop group NSYNC during their successful run of the 90’s. In the beginning of the millennium, the 2018 Super Bowl LII performer went solo in 2002 and released his own album Justified. The album became hugely successful and got him a Grammy Award. He continued on this solo part, making hits like FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006) and The 20/20 Experience (2013).

Previous Performance of Justin Timberlake at the Super Bowl
Justin Timberlake, 2018 Super Bowl Halftime Performer will be making his third appearance in the famous footballing event. He is one of the best American musicians to have repeat performances in the Super Bowl which is watched by millions of people worldwide, if not beyond!
His third appearance as the Super Bowl LII Performer comes as his first since his historic Rock Your Body 2004 performance with Janet Jackson. In the course of this, he ripped off a piece of her upper costume due to what he termed “wardrobe malfunction” during their halftime performance. The unfortunate incident was dubbed “Nipplegate” as it revealed glaringly, Janet Jackson’s right breast. It happened that during a duet with her, Justin grabbed her leather bodice, perhaps a lot more than he should have and in the event of that, ripped off a patch covering her once concealed and publicly unseen breast.
These took place within a flash of seconds but the eyes of attentive watchers were quick to capture and memories the rear display. Both apologized and the Super Bowl Halftime performer for 2018 called the reveal a “wardrobe malfunction.” We accept his apology and won’t abuse the occurrence. But perhaps naming him as the Super Bowl LII performer for 2018 simply stirs up imaginations whether there will likely be a repeat of that event. We sincerely hope not!
He is also a previous Super Bowl Halftime Performer of 2001 (as part of NSYNC, alongside Aerosmith, Mary J Blige, Nelly and his then-girlfriend ) and in 2004 where he sang alongside , P Diddy, Nelly (again) and Kid Rock. Thus, this will be his 3rd appearance as the Super Bowl LII Performer.
Justin Timberlake, Super Bowl LII Performer – What to expect.
- His performance will last a solid “thirteen minutes of insanity,” according to Marty Kudelka, choreography director.
- The record Super Bowl LII performer is not worried if anything goes wrong because according to him “perfection is the death of greatness.” So, hey! he is not worried.
- He might be singing Carl Douglas’s hit Kung Fu Fighting.
- He might do the show without a guest star. This is in contrast to the rumours that there might be an NSYNC reunion of some sort.
- A lot of things have been said about . The Minnesota Vikings played in Prince purple and the late singer even recorded a fight song Purple and Gold to be played at their games. The Super Bowl performer respects Prince and Michael Jackson to have had the greatest influence in shaking his music. When Prince died in 2016, he said: “He’s somewhere within every song I’ve ever written.” Going by this, it will be a lot more memorable if he uses this opportunity to pay tribute to the late musician. Perhaps, expect something in this regard from him.
