On the 13th of April, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, Ty Dolla Sign was born as Tyrone William Griffin Jr. The identity of his mother, whom he has a portrait of tattooed on his body, is unknown, but his father, Tyrone Griffin Sr., is a musician who was famously a part of the 70s funk band, Lakeside.
