Probably you have not heard of him, but if you have watched cartoons or animations in the last 5 decades, the chances are you have heard Frank Welker many times than you will believe without knowing.

Regarded in some quarters as the king of voices, Frank Welker is an American voice actor who has lent his voice to hundreds of characters. He was born Franklin Wendell Welker on March 12, 1946, in Denver, Colorado, U.S.
He was educated at Santa Monica College in California, majoring in theatrical arts. Since he was a little child, he could pick any voice or sound and distort them just to have people laugh.
Taking advantage of this, he began his voice acting career with a detergent commercial followed by a dog food commercial for Friskies. Seeing how good he was, the girlfriend of the producer of the dog food commercial told him about the audition for Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! which he decided to attend. At first, he auditioned for the role of the title character but was given Fred Jones while Don Messick got the role of Scooby-Doo in the Hanna-Barbera cartoon.
In the years that followed, he lent his voice to various performances in animations such as for various characters in Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels (1977 to 1980), various voices in The Smurfs (1981 to 1989), Brian in Inspector Gadget (1983 to 1985), various voices for The Transformers (1984 to 1987), and Curious George in Curious George (2006 to 2015).
In feature films, he did voice acting for various characters in The Transformers: The Movie (1986) and The Chipmunk Adventure (1987). He also did for Tokka and Rahzar in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991) and Galvatron in Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014).
