It was in Hammersmith, London that the model was born on 4th December 1990 as Stephen James Hendry. Of Scottish and Jewish descent, there is only a little that is known about his family and education.
He grew up in Barcelona but also spent some time in India which later influenced his religious beliefs as he studied Hinduism. This is perhaps the reason why he has a Kali tattoo. Nonetheless, he doesn’t believe in any religion.

Some may not know this, but James took his shot at football at quite a tender age. He began playing for the youth team of Queens Park Rangers way back in 2005 and stayed with the club until 2006.
He also proved his playing talent while working for the non-league club, AFC Wimbledon in 2008. Thereafter, he relocated to Cyprus to play for Nea Salamis Famagusta. As it has been established that James has Scottish heritage through his father, it should come as no surprise that he went international, competing for Scotland with the Under 18 team.
He got accepted in late 2007 to join the team in playing during a tournament in France. His debut on the international field came during the second match against France when he was selected to be the substitute for Michael Graham in the 65th minute. His subsequent game as part of the team was in a match that ended in a tie with the United States. Stephen was substituted in the 70th minute of the game and it became his last match for Scotland.

Since then, he has had a successful run as a model. His works on the modelling scene include working with heavyweight brands such as Calvin Klein, Diesel, Adon Magazine, ASOS, Philipp Plein, GQ Spain, among others. He is also known to model for Sik Silk Company on occasions.
