Who is Zeeko Zaki and How Old is He?

The FBI star actor was born on the 18th day of January 1990 and his birth took place in the Alexandria City of Egypt. Although he was born in Egypt, it was in Pennsylvania, USA that he was raised. His family reportedly moved to the US when he was just an infant. He also visited his hometown during the summers of his childhood.

As a child, Zeeko Zaki attended Unionville High School, Pennsylvania. While he was there, he participated in the stage production of Seussical, a musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty in his freshman year. From there, Zeeko was determined to pursue a career in acting when he grows up. Later on, he joined the theatre group, Unionville Players, hence featuring in their several productions at the community theatre. Zaki also attended Temple University briefly before dropping out in order to focus on his acting career.

Acting Career and Rise to Fame

The Egyptian-American actor made his film debut in 2012 when he was cast as Gus in the American comedy-drama film, Stuck in Love. He also appeared in a short film, The Therapy Session. Later in the same year, he made his first TV appearance with guest roles in the American spy thriller, Homeland and post-apocalyptic sci-fi series, Revolution. His outstanding performances made way for him to land higher roles subsequently.

In the following year, he portrayed the role of a prisoner in John Ward’s Heart of the Country alongside Gerald McRaney and . He also featured in a short film, McDuffy: The Urban Eagle in the same year. Thereafter, he played a minor role in the 2014 short film, Tuesday before landing another interesting role in Max in 2015. Afterwards, he was cast as Paparazzo in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. His other movies include Allegiant (2016) and Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018).

The actor came into the limelight in 2018 when he was cast as Omar Adom in the CBS crime drama series, FBI. There, he has been playing the lead character alongside , and to date. He also reprised his role in the show’s upcoming spinoff, FBI: Most Wanted which is set to be released in 2020. His other notable TV shows include 24: Legacy, Six, and NCIS: Los Angeles, among others.

Zeeko Zaki was born into an Egyptian family, however, there is no much information regarding his parents including their names. The much we are able to gather is that his father is a stylist while his mother manages a hair salon in Pennsylvania. Records show that his parents moved to the United States from Egypt when the actor was just one month old. Here, he grew up in West Chester neighbourhood of Pennsylvania. He grew up a Muslim, a faith which he still practices today. More so, he has two younger siblings – a sister and a brother whose identities have not been revealed. Additionally, the actor is fluent in both English and Arabic.
