Sophie Gradon died in her prime, right before her full potentials were unleashed into the world. Before her untimely death, the English beauty was a model and also worked as a marketing manager. Her death which occurred in mid-2018 left those who knew her in both grief and awe, with regards to her actual cause of death.

Who Was Sophie Gradon?
Sophie Gradon was a lot of things and strikingly beautiful should be at the top of the list. The crowned beauty queen, model, and socialite was popular in her hometown of Newcastle where she was born on 25th October 1985 and was named Sophie Hannah Gradon. It is not known if she has any siblings and the identity of her parents are not open to the public. She attended Dame Allan’s School where she graduated from, bagging her GCE Advanced Levels. Furthermore, she studied Media, Culture, and Society at the Northumbria University and obtained grades, leading to a 2:1 degree.
There are no details about when her interest in modeling was born but she contested in the 2008 Miss Newcastle beauty pageant and went home with the crown. The next year, she added another feather to her cap by winning and being crowned Miss Great Britain. These career milestones shot her to stardom and she made the most of the opportunity by investing her time and money in charity.
In addition to modeling, Sophie was also a marketing manager and promoter of the NE1 campaign in Newcastle City Centre. She used the platform to create awareness and subsequently raise funds for good causes. She is known to have pulled off a campaign to seek the help of British TV personality Calum Best in raising money for the Great North Run in 2011. Calum reportedly moved to support this charity as a result of what he saw Gradon accomplish for the Sara’s Hope Foundation. Subsequently, thousands of pounds were raised in order to sponsor children with cancer on a trip to Crete. Sophie Gradon has also shown support for the campaign – “The Great North Fitness Revolution” through her appearance on Sky Sports.
Early in 2018, Sophie Gradon contributed to a talk session on social media and the impact the several platforms have on children. She further buttressed her point during an interview with Radio Aire in March, revealing how she suffered intense cyberbullying at the hands of internet trolls and how the bad comments hurt her a lot.
Sophie Gradon was a contestant on the dating reality show Love Island. She participated in 2016 and on the show, she hooked up with barman Tom Powell but later shifted her attention to glamour model Katie Salmon. Her hookup with Katie marked the first same-sex pairing on Love Island.
Her Boyfriend
Gradon’s last known boyfriend was Aaron Armstrong who was born on 11th June 1984 in Medburn, United Kingdom. He lived a very private life which made it impossible to know much about his family and early life. However, he was self-employed; he owned an online store for men and also did some freelance marketing on social media. It is believed that Sophie and Aaron started dating in 2017 but before they coupled up, she was romantically linked to Wayne Lineker in 2008, rugby player Danny Cipriani in 2013 and even declared that she was bisexual in 2016.
When and How Did She Die?
The lifeless body of Sophie Gradon was discovered on 20th June 2018 in Medburn. The initial conclusion on the cause of death by the Northumbria police was that there was no foul play but the report soon took another turn.
After further investigation, officials came to the conclusion that the model may have taken her own life. With suicide projected as a possible cause of death, her fans and the Miss Great Britain organization expressed their heartfelt condolences.
Gradon who died at the age of 32 was buried on 5th July 2018. Sadly, on 10th July 2018, the lifeless body of her partner, Aaron Armstrong, was reportedly found at a house located in Blyth, Northumberland.
Aaron, 25, had just posted a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram to his demised girlfriend just hours before he was found dead. No foul play was suspected.
