1. Wonder Woman (2017)

Movie fans were buzzing for months in anticipation of the Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot, and it seemed like their patience was rewarded when the movie came out. It became the best performing DC Universe movie ever made and it was praised by both viewers and critics alike for its cinematic brilliance as well as its feminist storyline. The movie told the original story of one of the most popular, iconic, and powerful superheroes in comic book history. Gal played Diana, the eponymous Wonder Woman, who is the daughter of Hippolyta and Zeus. She was raised by Amazon women far away from humanity where no one knows her true abilities until a young man named Steve chances upon the island and upends her world with his brutal and horrendous stories of war. This leads her to face-off against Ares, the God of War to prevent him from destroying the world. It’s a tough role, emotionally and physically, but Gal managed to pull it off without difficulty.

2. Justice League (2017)

Once again, the earth is in danger and it’s up to DC’s finest coterie of superheroes, the Justice League to save humanity. Lex Luthor has created the ultimate monster, Doomsday, and let him loose on the world knowing how far his capacity for destruction extends. However, for reasons no one fully understands, Superman and Batman are at each other’s necks instead of teaming up to fight the newest evil in the world. It falls on Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) – the powerful Amazonian goddess to save the day. You can’t help but notice her performance in all its fiery brilliance and would find yourself agreeing that it’s one of the best Gal Gadot movies so far.

3. Fast Five (2011)

The fifth installment in the Fast and Furious was the Israeli actress’ second appearance on the franchise. She played a weapons expert named Gisele Harabo. It was Gal’s debut role on the big screen and she absolutely killed it. Her military background gave much-needed credibility and authenticity to the role. She was already accustomed to the physical requirements that she needed to fulfill the role, and her knowledge of firearms sealed the deal. While Dominic Toretto and his crew race towards the borders to escape paying for the many laws they broke trying to rescue him from prison, Gal is dazzling the audience with her performance. ‘s character is hard on their tail and so is a drug kingpin. This last heist could grant them their freedom or destroy every last hope of it. It’s a beautiful movie for lovers of action and Gal’s face is a refreshing change of pace.

4. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

There were a lot of mixed reviews following the release of Batman v Superman, not many people agreed that Gal Gadot’s character was one of the better parts of the movie. In fact, the two lead protagonists would have ended each other’s lives or gotten themselves in if she hadn’t stepped up to try and set things right. Even though her role was relatively a minor one and she only came in towards the end of the movie, Gal Gadot was a star through and through. She ensured that this performance made Batman v Superman one of the best Gal Gadot movies to date.

5. Fast and Furious 6 (2013)

Gal helped Toretto’s squad successfully pull off a heist worth $100 million in Fast Five, and she released her role as the weapons expert Giselle in part six of the franchise. ‘s character, Agent Hobbs, forgets about arresting the group and enlists their help to bring down and capture a dangerous terrorist. Dom, as usual, brings the team together to carry out this mission but things take an unexpected turn: Letty is very much alive and working with the man they have set out to catch. The storyline is true to form and sensible, laying the ground for the actions and decisions they will have to take. Gadot holds down her role despite being somewhat new to the series, leaving an impression that viewers cherished long after the movie ended. As far as her performances go, this is one of the best Gal Gadot movies and you’re bound to enjoy watching it.

6. Fast and Furious (2009)

This was the first Fast and Furious movie that Gal Gadot appeared in. Although she rendered a good enough performance considering how green she was in the acting business, it’s not her brightest role. However, she didn’t fail to give us a sense of what the future might hold for her as a star in the action genre. This installment follows Dominic as he tries to avenge Letty who died during an undercover mission. His thirst for revenge brings him to the door of a ruthless drug lord named Arturo Braga and Dom sets out to destroy him and end his organization once and for all. The storyline reminds us why we love the franchise and the reason it continues to endure. Family is everything, and the crew would do anything to protect and honor their own even if it costs them their freedom.

7. Criminal (2016)

The former beauty queen plays Jillian Pope in this action thriller and It’s easily one of the worst Gal Gadot movies ever. It received poor reviews from critics and viewers and was an absolute box office failure, managing to gross a paltry $38.8 million against the $31.5 million spent on production. Despite the talented cast ensemble which included , , , , and Gadot, the movie was painfully bland at best and unbearable the rest of the time. It’s one of those moments an actor wishes they could wipe off their career slates, but it happened, and there’s no way to undo the deed. We can only hope that such a blight never plagues our senses ever again.

8. Kicking Out Shoshana (2014)

Not one to forget her roots, Gal Gadot has starred in a couple of Israeli films such as this sports comedy movie in which she plays Mirit Ben Harush. It followed the life of Ami Shushan, a footballer in conservative Jerusalem who is forced into presenting himself as a homosexual man as punishment for playing around with the girlfriend of a mafia lord. He is stuck with two options: act like a gay man or lose his life, so he reluctantly obeys. However, his new status soon costs him his career, fans, family, and friends, but earns him the love and support of the gay community. His forced coming out story sparks a sexual revolution in Jerusalem and he is regarded as a hero by the LGBTQ community. There’s no way to claim that this was somehow an impressive appearance for the actress, if anything, it was the opposite.

9. Triple 9 (2016)

The acclaimed actress sank a little low when she starred in this mediocre crime thriller. She appeared alongside beloved performers such as , , Casey Affleck, Michael K. Williams, , Michelle Ang, and Aaron Paul, as Elena Vlaslov. The movie is about a bunch of dirty cops who are cornered into attempting a heist in order to save their skins and prevent their crimes from coming to light, but things go awry and leave them royally screwed. The film only managed to gross $25 million when it’s production cost $20 million. Gal’s role in the movie is not worth being remembered. If you’re talking about Gal Gadot movies, you’re unlikely to hear it come up in the conversation.

10. Keeping Up With the Joneses

The Joneses are a difficult family to keep up with, a lesson that their neighbors and viewers have to learn the hard way. The movie is about a regular suburban couple who try to become friends with their new neighbors, the Joneses, but soon discover that the mysterious pair is hiding a dangerous secret. The truth is the Joneses are government agents sent to spy on them and, of course, this sets rolling an unfortunate and sometimes hilarious sequence of events.

Although it’s an action comedy film, it barely qualifies as either of those things. The action seems cartoonist and unrealistic, and the comedic moments appear forced and unnatural. It’s not an easy movie to watch, and anyone who somehow gets to the end should be commended for having a higher tolerance than most. It received low and bad reviews and could only gross $29 million compared to its $40 million production project. It was a resounding failure that ended up a money wasting scheme, making it one of Gal’s worst movies ever.
