The list is compiled based on the financial strength of these football teams by calculating their aggregate operating revenue over three seasons and the revenues they generated. Thereafter, the teams are then ranked by their enterprise value.

It really is no surprise to see that the twelve most valuable football teams in the World are all European based clubs. This is because the game was founded in Europe and the business of running a club has proven to be more profitable on the continent than anywhere else.
