Biography

Josh Reynolds was born on the 16th of February, 1995 in San Antonio, Texas. It seems to be a star athlete runs in the family as his younger brother, Moses Reynolds, is also a football player who plays defensive back for the Texas A&M University football team.

As it is expected for most football players, the football journey starts from high school and Josh Reynolds was no different. Raised in San Antonio, Texas, he attended John Jay High School, playing football as a wide receiver. A position he continued to play through to the NFL. In his senior season, which is usually the defining season for scouts, he finished with 44 catches for 667 yards along with 48 tackles with 3 interceptions. At the end of his high school career, Josh Reynolds had an impressive career record of 102 receptions for 1859 yards with 22 touchdowns. It was a record that drew the interest of a couple of colleges, with him eventually signing with Tyler Junior College. He spent one year at Tyler, where he continued to deliver exceptional performances until he got an offer from Texas A&M, joining the popular school in 2014.

Josh Reynolds spent three years at Texas, breaking a school record in his first year for most touchdowns in a single season with 13 touchdowns from 52 passes for 842 yards which was certainly an impressive way to announce his skill and talent. Despite being ranked high among scouts and coaches in 2015 with NFL offers on the horizon, Josh chose to complete college, graduating in 2016 with a degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Science.

Josh Reynolds’ NFL Career

He joined the NFL in 2017 through the Los Angeles Rams which picked him as the 117th overall player in drafts. He made his debut for the Rams on the 21st of June 2017 after signing his professional contract. His first season ended with a record of 11 catches for 104 yards and 1 touchdown.

Having gotten the integration into professional life out of his system in his freshman season, Josh has been an instrumental player for the Rams as they marched towards a Super Bowl appearance in 2019. Contributing 29 catches for 402 yards with 5 touchdowns, his performances helped the Rams to win over the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.

At the beginning of 2019, he already had an impressive total NFL record of 40 receptions, 506 receiving yards and 6 receiving touchdowns, which is only just the beginning for this star player.

Family

As the first son of his parents – Michele and Robert Reynolds, Josh has so far set a great example. The rising NFL star who has helped his team to a Super Bowl appearance is leading as the man in his family. His younger brother, Moses Reynolds has followed in his footsteps, playing his college football trade for Josh Reynold’s alma mater, Texas A&M Aggies.

Beyond this, there isn’t a lot of information available about his family life but it is known that the athlete is not yet married, however, he is currently in a relationship with Haley Graves, a sports journalist.
