Biography
Bryn Forbes was born in Lansing, Michigan on the 23rd of July 1993. He was born to American parents Brandon Forbes and his wife Sue Forbes. Bryn began playing basketball from a very young age and he went on to attend J. W. Sexton high school where he kicked off his amateur career.
Playing alongside Anthony Clemmons and , Bryn led the Sexton team to win the State title in his junior and senior years. He scored an average of 13.6 points per game while helping the team to maintain a 26 – 2 record as a junior. The player also posted 5 rebounds and 19 points per game as a senior. Finishing his high school career, Bryn got Lansing State Journal team selection as well as class B All-State selection.
During his collegiate career, Bryn Forbes enrolled at Cleveland State University where he played for two seasons before transferring to Michigan State University for the remaining two years of his college career. In his rookie year, the amazing shooting guard averaged 3.5 rebounds and 12.7 points while making 32 appearances for the Vikings. In the end, he was honored with the Horizon League Newcomer of the Year Award as well as the Horizon All-Newcomer Team selection.
As a sophomore, Bryn finished fourth in three-point shooting while averaging 3.1 rebounds and 15.6 points per game. After his impressive performance, Bryn got All-Horizon second team and NABC All-District team selection. Looking for a more competitive environment, Bryn joined Michigan State Spartans for the remainder of his college career in 2014.
With the Spartans, Bryn recorded massive improvement in his game; he averaged 8.5 rebounds and 24 points in the 2014/15 season. In his final season, he emerged as one of the best three-point shooters in the country with field goals percentage of 50%. Bryn averaged 2.1 rebounds and 14.4 points per game while being named to All-Big Ten 2nd team by coaches and media. He also earned PIT All-Tournament team and USBWA All-District first team selection.
NBA Career
Failing to reach the average height for NBA shooting guards, Bryn Forbes lost out of the NBA draft of 2016. After the draft, the guard joined the San Antonio Spurs for the 2016 Summer League where he put in an impressive performance scoring 77 out of 100 three-points. He was then recruited by the Spurs and he penned his rookie contract on 14th July 2016. As a rookie, Bryn Forbes shared his time between the Spurs and their G-League affiliate Austin Spurs. He played a total of 36 games for the Spurs averaging 2.6 points per game.
In the 2017/18 season, Bryn was selected to the All-NBA Summer League second team after he posted a wonderful performance for the Spurs. The guard finished the season coming in as a sub in 80 games and he had an average of 1.6 rebounds and 6.9 points per game. In July 2018, Bryn got a contract extension with the Spurs.

Just like we earlier said that Bryn was born to black-American father Brandon Forbes and his wife Sue Forbes. There is no much information regarding his parents. It is an already known fact that they are both Michigan natives and it is not known if he has other siblings or not.
While he is experiencing a burgeoning career, Bryn Forbes hasn’t been so successful in his love life. He has been in a relationship with his high school sweetheart named Raelynn Taylor. The pair began their relationship during their high school days. Although their relationship has never been without hiccups, the couple has struggled to keep their relationship until 2017.
The couple was blessed with two sons named Leo and Carter. They welcomed their first child Carter in August 2013 and three years later; they welcomed their second son Leo in 2016. However, the pair broke up in 2017 following a series of unresolved issues. Afterward, they started battling for the custody of their children. Following the court ruling, Bryn got the full custody of their children after paying the sum of $50,000 in lieu of child support.
