The older Thorne was born Kaili Elizabeth Thorne on the 19th day of February 1992, in Florida, USA. Her first name which is pronounced and can also be spelled Kylie has Hawaiian origin and means “whisper of the ocean”. As a child, Kaila lived with her mother in Hawaii and then moved in with her father, and half-siblings in Miami during her early teens.
