Unarguably one of NFL’s most successful football quarterbacks of all time, Michael Vick will forever be remembered for his robust career with the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles.
Now retired, Vick formerly represented the aforementioned football teams in the American Football tournaments as a quarterback. During his active years, he was famous for his rare athletic speed and natural ability to deliver classic passes on the football pitch.
As a result of his skills, he rose to become one of NFL’s most prolific players with impressive records and titles to show for it. With the help of teammates, he won the 4× Pro Bowl in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2010 and was also honoured with the following awards – Big East Offensive Player of the Year (1999), NFL Comeback Player of the Year (2010), Big East Rookie of the Year (1999), and Bert Bell Award (2010).
The retired footballer launched his footballing career in the year 2000 when he was drafted into the NFL as the number 1 pick. He had his first football stint with the Atlanta Falcons and later represented the team for seven seasons after which he had a run-in with the law and was locked up in a federal prison for 21 months for operating an unauthorized dogfighting ring.
After serving his jail term, Atlanta Falcons released Michael and he was later signed by the Philadelphia Eagles. Starting all over after 21 months away from the field wasn’t really easy for Vick but he managed to get back to form. His stint with the Eagles lasted for just five years, after which he went on to represent New York Jet and Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL.

The retired quarterback’s full name is Michael Dwayne Vick. He is the son of Michael Boddie (father) and Brenda Vick (mother), who welcomed him into the world on June 26, 1980, in Virginia, precisely in Newport News.
Vick had a humble beginning as he was born into a poor family. In order to make ends meet, his mother worked in two firms while his father worked in a shipyard as a spray-painter and sandblaster.
By the time Vick was born, his parents weren’t married. The couple eventually wedded when the former football player was five years old, however, their children decided to continue bearing their mother’s surname.

Vick has three siblings and they were all raised in the East End section of the port city. He has two sisters called Courtney Vick and Christina Vick. Michael Vick’s brother is none other than Marcus Vick – a retired football player who briefly represented Miami Dolphins in the league in 2006 as a quarterback, return specialist, and wide receiver.
Born on March 20, 1984, Marcus is Michael’s younger brother. He had his high school education at Warwick High School. Like his elder brother, he has had run-ins with the law and has been arrested severally for crimes like hard drug possession, driving under the influence of drugs, driving without a license and expired registration.
Michael Vick has been a married man since 2012 when he tied the knot with his sweetheart/Baller Wives star, Kijafa Frink. The couple reportedly met in 2002 and eventually took the big step of love by getting married in the year 2012.
Frink has been a supportive partner to the former Philadelphia star right from the time Vick got into trouble with the law. At the time, Kijafa was his girlfriend and is said to have helped him pull through a whole lot of things in life.
