Laura on the other hand, though not as famous as Sam, is popular for her role in the comedy-drama Honest, as well as the science fiction film, Transformers: The Last Knight. On August 19, 2019, the couple announced they were legally separating, giving up on their 6 years long marriage. Laura and Sam have two kids together, a son named Pip and a daughter named Margot.
Sam was first to announce their separation via his Instagram page and although they both declined from speaking further on reasons behind their divorce, many have, however, speculated that their separation might have been as a result of infidelity as it is one of the major reasons for the breakdown in marriages, especially among celebrities like them.
In his Instagram statement, Claflin went on to explain that although Laura and himself are divorced, they will remain the best of friends and will work together to raise their kids. he ended with a plea with the public to respect their privacy as they go through this difficult time.
