The history of the golf game in the early 1980’s and 90’s cannot be complete without a tribute to the living legend of golf, Bernhard Langer. The professional German golfer Bernhard Langer was born on the 27th day of August 1957 to mother – Erwin Langer and father -Walburga Langer in Anhausen near Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. According to available records, Bernhard who is a devout Christian originally came from Bavaria West Germany. Bernhard has completed 48 events in the senior majors and has ended in topmost 10 in 24 (50%) and 38 (79%) of them respectively.
