He became familiar with acting roles at a very young age, following in the footsteps of his siblings who are also in the acting field. By age 13, Luis was already a TV veteran, having appeared in some episodic TV series, movies and in several national TV commercials.

Luis was able to combine this with his studies and other social activities which include being part of a football team, skateboarding and playing golf. In fact, following his passion for skating, he launched a new line of skate wear in the spring of 2006. Meanwhile, the young actor has maintained a very low profile despite his growing spot in the media. He finished his high school studies in LaGrange, in 2010. During his school days, Luis is known for acing all his tests with an A average scholastically. He is a native of Palos and he currently lives in Los Angeles with his family.
