At the age of 5, she was enrolled into St. Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls, Boksburg and at 16, she was accepted to Lady Grey Arts Academy. She started her journey in music in 2001 and has since been active in the industry until present. She set it off with the music and arts group called The Constructus Corporation. She would later move on from them and join the South African ‘corporate’ hip-hop group, “MaxNormal.tv”. She served as the personal assistant to the group leader, Max Normal. Her romance with this group brought her instant fame and her popularity shot up overnight.

After she quit MaxNormal.tv, she joined the South African Rap/Rave/Zef group, Die Antwoord. The Die Antwoord is a translation of the word “The Answer” in Afrikaans and it was formed in Cape Town in 2008. Other members of the group include Justin de Nobrega aka DJ Hi-Tek and Watkin Tudor Jones also known as Ninja.

Together, they commanded a great audience and became very popular. Their first album titled, “$O$” was released in 2009. The album which had tracks like Enter the Ninja was an instant hit and celebrated among young people which formed the most part of their fan base. The album also gave them a global appeal even though their raps are more popular in Afrikaans. Die Antwoord has gone on to produce four studio albums, two EPs and one mixtape.
