Ted Nugent whose birth name is Theodore Anthony Nugent was born on December 13, 1948, as one of four children (John, Jeffrey and Kathy Nugent) of Marion Dorothy and Warren Henry Nugent as his father and mother respectively. He is of American nationality with mixed descent in Irish, German and Swedish origins. He grew up with his siblings in Redford, Michigan United States.
Ted had his high school education at William Frem High School in Palatine, Illinois. After his first year here, he transferred to St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He had a flair for music right from an early age and actually started playing music for fun when he was just six. He formed his first music band known as Lourdes at the age of 14 which was quite popular at the time.
His music interest took a formal shape in Detroit where he started off by recruiting new members for Amboy Dukes. They released their self-titled album and won a national recognition with the single Journey to the Centre of the Mind in the following year. However, the success that met this band didn’t keep him there for long as he left the band to pursue a solo career. Doing this, he released his first solo music album which took his name, Ted Nugent.
In the 1980’s he went off the spotlight for a couple of years to come back with a 1995 album titled Spirit of the Wild where he expressed his political views and relationship with nature and hunting. His return to the spotlight continued gradually and in mid-2000 he held shows that were completely sold out as well as his distribution of a book entitled God, Guns and Rock-N-Roll.

On the 28 of April 2017, a couple of websites published fake stories of Ted Nugent being shot in error in Montana by a fellow hunter who taught he was a brown bear. However, no authority news website published the story for it to be taken as real. It was best assumed that the fake news was cooked up and circulated by animal rights activists who have had a long-standing battle with Ted’s penchant for hunting.
Ted’s spokeswoman Linda Peterson was later contacted and asked via email about the celebrity’s health. She made known that it was all fake.
The same day, Ted made a with his better half Shermane which showed he is very much alive and well. His wife also posted another live video on her own Facebook account where her husband’s voice could be clearly heard in the background as she played with their dog.

Ted has been married twice. He was married to Sandra Jezwoski from 1970 to 79 who gave birth to two children for him. A boy named Theodore Tobias “Toby” Nugent and a girl named Sasha Nugent, this was his first marriage. He gave them up for adoption in their infancy and they were adopted separately and had no contact whatsoever with each other. Their mother Sandra Jezowski died in a car crash in 1982.
With time and in their adulthood they got to know of each other. The boy learned of the existence of his father through his sister’s quest to know him. This became public knowledge in 2010.
Ted Nugent got married to his second wife Shemane Deziel on January 21, 1989. They met while he was a guest on Detroit’s WLLZ-FM where she worked as a member of the news staff. They have one son who is named Rocco Winchester Nugent.
In 1978 however, Nugent was said to have begun a sexual relationship with a Hawaiian teen named Pele Massa.
