Although she nurtured her interest in the entertainment industry from an early age (at eleven years old), Alexandra Daddario didn’t take her career to a professional level until she turned 16. She studied at Brearley School and moved on to Professional Children’s School, as well as Marymount Manhattan College. By the time she made up her mind to become an actress, she pursued it by studying the Meisner acting technique, spending years to learn the ropes. Her first role in her capacity as a professional actress was portrayed in TV soap opera All My Children from 2002–2003 and playing Laurie Lewis is her biggest role on TV to date. So far, there are about thirty projects under Alexandra Daddario movies with some still in production. Her debut role in the category came when she was cast to play Pretty Girl in The Squid and the Whale. While her role in the 2005 American independent arthouse comedy-drama film is not a prominent one, it launched her acting career in the film department and opened the door for more. Her next movie role came the next year and it’s a short film titled Pitch where she portrayed the role of Alex. Also in 2006, she landed the role of Kim in The Hottest State, based on a novel of the same name. 2007 brought two more movie roles her way – Barbara Yates in The Babysitters and Ava Strauss in the Attic. Alexandra only appeared in a single movie role in 2011, playing the role of Paige in Hall Pass. In 2013, she lined up three film projects – Texas Chainsaw 3D where she appeared as Heather Miller, Life in Text as Haley Greene and also reprised the role of Annabeth Chase in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Burying the Ex is the only film project she graced her talent with in the year 2014, appearing as Olivia, while San Andreas – where she played Blake Gaines and Faces Without Eyes – where she is seen as Iris, joined the lot on Alexandra Daddario movies list in 2015.
After playing Monica in The Choice and Kate Winston in Baked in Brooklyn, both in 2016, the actress joined the Baywatch cast as Summer Quinn in 2017 – she starred alongside and in the American comedy action movie. Alexandra made her first appearance as a professional actress on television by the time she was 16. She played the role of Laurie Lewis in the American television series, All My Children, which aired on ABC from 5th January 1970 to 2nd September 2013. Her character of a victimized teen on the soap opera appeared in all of 43 episodes that make up the show, launching her career in the entertainment industry.
She remained on the cast list of All My Children from 2002 to 2003 before she joined the procedural and legal drama television series Law & Order for one episode in 2004. She played Felicia in the episode titled ‘Enemy’. Her next television appearance was in a similar project – Law & Order: Criminal Intent where she played Susie Armstrong in one episode – ‘In the Wee Small Hours (Part 1)’.

From 2011 to the next year, Alexandra Daddario played a recurring role as Rachel in the comedy-drama Parenthood. She appeared in 5 episodes in season three of the show and concluded the year with one episode appearance in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Ruby Taft. Her debut acting project scored 6.6/10 on IMDb and was liked by 88% of Google users with fans teeming up around it. Her first big break in films – Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief didn’t do so well if the ratings – 5.9/10 IMDb, 49% Rotten Tomatoes and 47% Metacritic are to be considered. However, the film went on to bring in 226.4 million USD at the box office and when compared to its budget of 95 million USD, it didn’t do badly at all. The same goes to Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters which was shot on a budget of 90 million USD and earned 200.9 million USD at the box office.
White Collar received good ratings from authority platforms upon its premiere. The series got 8.2/10 on IMDb, 97% on Rotten Tomatoes while TV.com gave it 8.5/10. Also, movie fans love the acting displayed in Texas Chainsaw 3D but the horror film received poor ratings. On IMDb, it got 4.8/10 while Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic gave it 18% and 31% respectively. The film brought in 47.2 million USD against a budget of 20 million USD.
Among her worst projects in terms of ratings and earning, Burying the Ex grossed a mere 604,517 USD at the box office and was rated at 28% on Rotten Tomatoes. Baywatch didn’t do so well too, bagging a 17% score on Rotten Tomatoes, however, most movie fans received it with open arms.
