Carys Zeta Douglas was welcomed into the world by her parents; Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, on the 20th of April, 2003 at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Carys Zeta Douglas is the third generation in a family of show business royalty. Her paternal grandparents are Kirk and Diana Douglas who were both actors in the film industry’s Golden Age. Kirk and Diana’s first son, , who is Carys’ father, followed in the footsteps of his parents to also have a career in Hollywood.

In 1977, Michael Douglas married his first wife, Diandra Luker, and the two welcomed a son named Cameron, Carys’ older half brother, in the following year. Following the failure of the marriage, Micheal married actress in November 2000 and the two went on to have two children; a son named Dylan in 2000 and Carys in 2003.

While Dylan has made a number of appearances as an actor, most notably in Phineas and Ferb (2007), not much is known about him other than the fact that he is currently enrolled at Brown University. Cameron, on the other hand, is an established actor having appeared in movies like ‘s Mr. Nice Guy (1997), It Runs in the Family (2003), and National Lampoon’s Adam & Eve (2005).
