Bianca Balti is a supermodel, fashion designer, and businesswoman. The Italian-born beauty came into the limelight when she headlined an advertisement campaign for Dolce & Gabbana back in 2005 and after that, she served as the face of the brand for well over a decade. In the course of her longrunning career, Balti has walked the runway for some of the biggest names in fashion and has graced the covers of the most prestigious international fashion magazines.

Bianca Balti was born on March 19, 1984. She was born and raised in Lodi, a city in the Lombardy region of Northern Italy. Her parents are Bruno Balti and Mariabice Marzani. She was raised alongside 2 brothers Alessandro and Carlo Alberto. Growing up, her father worked as a magazine distributor and thus, leafing through the glossy pages sparked her interest in fashion. As the opportunity to explore the world of fashion did not come early enough, she took to dancing as a means of expressing herself.
Modeling Career
Apparently, Bianca Balti had a rather unconventional path to fame. She worked different odd jobs to make a living as a young adult before she was eventually persuaded by a friend to give a shot at modeling in 2004. Yielding to her friend’s advice, she got to meet a model scout for the very first time in her life and that appointment opened up a whole new chapter in her life.
One of her first jobs was featuring on the cover of the French fashion magazine L’Officiel after which she also appeared in Vogue Italia. She eventually marked her runway debut during the 2005 Spring/summer fashion shows and has featured in almost all the fashion season’s shows since then. She also marked her debut as a Victoria’s Secret Angel at the 2005 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show walking alongside runway queens like , , , , , and Naomi Campbell.
Bianca Balti has walked for big names like Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, John Galliano, Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Valentino, Chanel, Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, and Carolina Herrera. She has also been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire and interestingly, she also featured on the popular men’s lifestyle magazine Playboy. In 2017, the Italian-born bombshell reached yet another milestone in her career as she was featured in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue and was named “Rookie of the Year”.
Over the years, Balti has become particularly known for her longtime collaboration with the Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana.

Bianca Balti is married to Matthew McRae, an American-born personal sober coach. The duo met in August 2014 in Marbella, Spain. They got engaged about a year later and they ultimately tied the knot on August 1, 2016. Their wedding ceremony held at Fullerton Courthouse in Orange County California. One year after tying the knot, the couple had a more elaborate vow renewal in an outdoor ceremony held at the Ranch at Laguna Beach, also in California.
Balti has two children. She had her first child in 2007, a daughter named Matilda Lucidi. The child’s father is her former husband Christian Lucidi. On April 14, 2015, she welcomed her second child with her present husband Matthew McRae, a daughter named Mia McRae.
