Chip and Joanna Gaines have had a scandal or two trailing their very busy and fabulous lives. Sometime in April 2017, a lawsuit created a scandal after Chip’s former Magnolia Real Estate partners sued him to the tune of $1 million.
They claimed Chip made them sell their shares to him at a cheap rate without disclosing the deal he recently signed with HGTV.
On Joanna’s side, she had to address a rumor that she was planning to leave their business and going into a new skincare line which seems totally off their sphere. This was discarded as fake news.
