Aaron Lewis Bio

Aaron Lewis first came into this world on 13th April 1972; he was born in Rutland City of Vermont to American parents. Aaron belongs to the white ethnicity and holds an American nationality. He completed his high school education in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Growing up as a child wasn’t so easy for Aaron as his parents divorced when he was thirteen. The youngster spent more time with his grandfather Corky Lewis who is a World War II veteran. It was through him that Aaron got to know and develop a passion for country music. After his grandfather died, he continued to nurture the seed of love for country music which his grandfather had sown in his life.

Musical Career

Lewis started making music at the age of sixteen but was deterred because they were a few people listening to country music at the time. This led Aaron to join his first kid rock group J-CAT where he wrote songs and performed with the band for a few years before Staind was formed. He also started going on music tours with the Carlton Showband alongside his bandmates including Tommy Hunter, Charlie Pride, Joe Diffie, and The Osmonds, among others.

Through his musical tours, Aaron experienced a constant growth in his music career as well as in his performances. He also formed a trio called The Three Pianos with which he performed for so many years at the Savoy Theatre situated in Glace Bay. Along with Mike Mushok, Johnny April, and Jon Wysocki, Aaron formed the metal band called Staind in 1995. The heavy metal band group has been performing for over two decades. Together, they have launched seven studio albums including Tormented; other are Dysfunction, Break the Cycle, 14 Shades of Grey, Chapter V, The Illusion of Progress and Staind.

Aaron Lewis has equally done a lot of work as a country music solo artist; he launched his first Extended Play record titled Town Line in July 2010. He collaborated with other artists such as , George Jones, and Charlie Daniels. Two years later, he further released his first solo album titled The Road. The music dominated the country music charts for several months. In 2016, Lewis followed his solo album with yet another hit album titled Sinner.

Since the inception of his musical career, Aaron Lewis has done a lot of collaborative acts with popular artists which include Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, , Pearl Jam, and Pink Floyd, to name a few. Lewis has also contributed to over 150 music projects both as a background singer and musician.
