Abbie Cornish Bio
Born Abbie Cornish on August 7, 1982, in Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia, the beautiful model is the second of her parents five children – three boys and two girls. Their parents are Barry and Shelley Cornish. Her birth sign is Leo and she also goes by the rap name Dusk or MC Dusk. Having being born in Australia, her nationality is Australian and she belongs to the white ethnicity. Abbie grew up on a farm in Newcastle, New South Wales where she fell in love with animals. So deep was her love for animals, that she became a vegetarian and would no more eat meat in advocacy for animal protection. And even though she would rescind her decision to be a vegetarian after a while (in later years), she remained a champion for the save-the-animal cause.
In 2016, Abbie took it a step further by becoming an ambassador for the animal protection group, Voiceless, with whom she has made concerted efforts to see that animals are protected and treated with a little more dignity. She could be seen speaking about this in the interviews she grants at open events. Her parents were divorced when she was 16 and she felt it was better for them to separate than to have a dysfunctional family while still trying to live together

Abbie picked up interest in modelling at the age of 13 after making it to the finals of a Dolly Magazine competition. She also featured regularly in the crime TV series, Wildside, which earned her not only the Young Actor’s Award from the Australian Film Institute in 1999 but also a role in what would be her film debut in 2000 with The Monkey’s Mask.
