Gilmore Girls (2000 – 2007)

Gilmore Girls ran from October 5, 2000 – May 15, 2007, consisting of 7 seasons with 153 episodes. The O.C (2003 – 2007)

The O.C which stands for Orange County, a town in California where the film was shot, is about the life of a teenager, Ryan – gifted but troubled. He gets adopted, has a new brother, and faces life as a teenager and an outsider in a high-class world.

This Josh Schwartz series was first aired on Fox Network. Initially, it had a positive reception and high ratings but the ratings began to decline as the series went on, leading to it’s eventual cancellation on February 22, 2007. The Ten (2007)

The Ten is about ten quirky stories all based on a commandment from the biblical Ten Commandments. Each story is intertwined with each other. The movie was produced with $5.2 million but grossed only $785,528 at the box office. It did poorly with the audience when it came to ratings on popular review sites. It was scored 40% on Rotten Tomatoes while it recorded a 5/10 success rating on IMDb.

Smiley Face (2007)

Despite ‘ brilliant acting and Gregg Araki more than average directing blended with a well-written script by Dylan Haggerty, Smiley Face was an abysmal failure commercially. It can be safely placed as the worst movie Adam had ever appeared on. Apart from Adam and Anna, stars like Danny Masterson, , , Marion Ross, , and Roscoe Lee Browne were also cast in this movie.

The film was described by Rotten Tomatoes as ‘a let down’, indicating its failure to impress the critics. The critics on this platform scored the first season 36% while the audience, who seemed to enjoy the show, awarded the series a 91% rating on the same site.
