She came to light when she started working as a manager in show business in the fast-moving world of Hollywood. After several years in the business, she became the manager of popular TV host Ty Pennington.

Ty Pennington is an artist, carpenter, author, and philanthropist, who as stated above, is most famously known as a TV host. He hosted the critically acclaimed reality TV series on ABC titled ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ between 2003 and 2012. He has also done a few other shows including ‘On the Menu’ on TNT, ‘American Diner Revival’ on The Food Network, and the about to be aired ‘Trading Spaces’ reboot on TLC.

Pennington attended Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia, where he was born. He first attended Kennesaw State University, where he majored in art and history before transferring to the Art Institute of Atlanta where he graduated with a degree in Graphic Design.

He started his career in show business as a model, appearing on ads for Macy’s, Levi’s, Diet Coke, among many others. It was a very lucrative career which took him to different parts of the world. For a long time, he resided outside the United States in countries such as Japan, Italy, and Canada.

Having had a passion for woodworking, carpentry, and home improvement, Pennington moved to the silver screen to use his hands-on skills and designing ability to create sets before going on to lead his own show. During that time, he also acted in the independent film, ‘The Adventures of Ociee Nash’.

Andrea Bock’s Relationship With Ty Pennington, Is She Married?

Andrea Bock and Ty Pennington have reportedly been in a relationship for more than 18 years. It has also been reported that the couple has known each other since they were 11 years of age. Pennington was at the time just going by his birth name, Gary Tygert Burton, when they met.

The couple grew very close and were regarded as tight friends for many years before they chose to reveal in a 2008 interview that they had been in a relationship. She has spent a lot of time behind the scene supporting Pennington all through the ups and downs of his career.

Having dated for so long, people have asked the couple if they have plans to get married. Both of them say that they do not need an official marriage status.

“It (marriage) means more than a few words in our documents,” Ty said in the interview, “We’re definitely a team and I appreciate it,” he added

Andrea backed up her partner’s remarks, stating:”we don’t need to get married. We’re having such a good time now.”

Reports have it that the couple is indeed planning to get married in the near future. Those plans, however, hit the rocks after Pennington was caught cheating on his girlfriend with a stripper. He was also arrested for DUI during the same period which put a bigger strain on their relationship. It was announced that Andrea Bock broke up with him during that period although they are now back together.
