Andrew Harrison is an American basketball player who presently plays for the Memphis Grizzlies. In 2014, he led the Kentucky Wildcats all the way to the NCCA Championship game. His twin brother, Aaron Harrison, also plays professional basketball. Aaron and Andrew both played basketball for the Wildcats at Kentucky University. While at Travis High School, Andrew gained a vast recognition as one of the top recruits for 2013.
Eventually, the rising basketballer was drafted to the National Basketball Association (NBA) during the second round as the 44th overall by the Phoenix Suns. After his NBA draft, he played with the Suns for two years and in 2016, a trade took him over to the Memphis Grizzlies team. The professional basketballer has been playing with the Grizzlies in the shooting guard position since 2016 and he is still with them till date.

The professional basketball player was born in San Antonio, Texas on the 28th of October 1994. As previously mentioned, Andrew has a twin brother, Aaron, who also plays professional basketball. The brothers have earned the reputation of being hardworking, dedicated, and methodical when it comes to the game.
Growing up, Andrew Harrison attended Travis High school which is located in Pecan Grove, Texas. During his years in high school, the budding star recorded very good stats and was the pride of his school. He was ranked as one of the top five basketball players of the 2013 class, an honor which he shared with , Andrew Wiggins, and most importantly, his brother – Aaron.
Andrew also participated in the 2013 McDonald’s All-American Boys Games and the 2013 Jordan Brand Classic games.
After Travis High School, the young basketball player attended Kentucky University where he spent only a few years but left a beautiful record of 2.7 rebounds, 10.1 points and 3.8 assists in a total of 79 games. Along with his brother Aaron, they helped their college to successive Final Fours in 2014 and 2015 respectively, but eventually lost both times; first to Connecticut in the 2014 title game and to Wisconsin in the 2015 semi-finals.
Andrew Harrison then made the conscious decision to forfeit his remaining two years of college eligibility and declare for NBA draft on the 8th of April 2015. His decision supposedly influenced other players including his twin Aaron, Dakari Johnson, teammates Karl-Anthony Towns, Devin Booker, Willie Cauley-Stein and Trey Lyles. They all decided to forgo their remaining years of college eligibility.
