Annie Parisse Bio
The actress whose real name is Anne Marie Cancelmi was born on July 31, 1975, in Anchorage, Alaska. She is the daughter of Louis G. and Annette Cancelmi. Louis is an Alaska Air senior executive while Annette was a first-grade teacher at Newport Heights Elementary. The professional name of the actress came from her late great-grandmother’s maiden name, Anna Maria Parisse. She has used the name ever since her early stage appearances.
Annie has a mixed ancestry. Her father has portions of the Italian, Slovak and Polish origin while her mum is of both Italian and Syrian ancestry. The popular actress has two brothers – Louis Cancelmi and Michael Cancelmi who took after the teaching profession like their mum. Likewise, Louis is an actor, sharing the same profession with his sister, Annie.
The actress who was raised in King County, Washington is known to have a decent and humble personality. After her education at Fordham, Annie moved to London where she trained further as an actor and finally returned to the United States to build a more stable acting career for herself.

Annie launched her professional acting career with the role of Julia Lindsay Snyder in the CBS series, As the World Turns which she played in from 1998 to 2001. She however returned for a few episodes in 2002. Annie has featured in many TV productions such as Law & Order, Third Watch, Big Apple, Friends and most currently acted in the TV film, Paterno where she played the role of Mary Kay Paterno.
For movies, she is known for such roles as Jeannie Ashcroft in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days; Morgan in Monster-In-Law; Agent Dawes in National Treasure amongst others. In all, she has credits for over 30 films and TV productions collectively and a number of outstanding stage performances.
Law & Order was the longest-running crime drama on American primetime television. Annie joined the team in its 15th season after appearing in the “Attorney Client” episode in 2002. Coincidentally, Annie’s brother Louis is married to Law & Order veteran Sam Waterston’s daughter, Elisabeth Waterston.

Paul Sparks grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. His father Michael is a high school football coach while his mother Jane is an elementary school teacher. In 1995, Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama. He is known for his role in Boardwalk Empire, House of Cards and other movie and TV productions. Like his wife, the award-winning actor has also made several appearances on Law & Order.
