The singer, songwriter, and actor has the golden boy and teen dream of the 70s, as his father, among many other family members who have strong roots in the entertainment industry.

Beau Devin Cassidy was born February 8, 1991, in Los Angeles, but he grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The entertainer was born to his father, David Cassidy, and his mother, Sue Shifrin. Beau’s mother, Sue, is a well-known songwriter. His father David Cassidy was a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and actor. He was one of the most popular personalities in his teenage and early adult years and memorably starred in the popular 70s musical sitcom series, The Partridge Family. He died in November 2017 from multiple organ failure after being diagnosed with dementia in 2015.

Growing up, Beau Cassidy unsurprisingly developed a love for all things entertainment. While in high school, he appeared on a plethora of stage productions including The Music Man, Pride and Prejudice, and The Wedding Singer.

Beau Cassidy went on to study at Northeastern State University before subsequently obtaining a degree in Theatre and Arts from Boston University. His first job out of school was at The Weinstein Company, where he was employed as a production assistant for a few months. He then joined A Way Around Films as a production manager and later as Associate Director of Investment Sales at One Commercial Realty Services.
