Blake Jenner’s Bio 

Blake Jenner was born on August 27, 1992, in Miami, Florida, United States. As a young child, he was inspired to become an entertainer by and . He schooled at Felix Varela High School and was part of the school’s drama society where he performed in school productions all the way through high school. He also partook in acting classes in middle school and in high school alongside working as a model for several commercials during this period. Blake Jenner was also involved in his school’s sports team where he played football and wrestling. In order to pursue his career, he took both day and night courses including some online courses to enable him to graduate early and focus on his career and passion for acting. As a young actor, he moved to Los Angeles in search of better opportunities for his career and he had to do several jobs like being a waiter, working in a clothing store, a fast food outlet and selling parrots in a store to make ends meet.

His Career

Blake’s acting career officially started after high school in 2010 when he made his first appearance as Conor in the film Fresh 2 Death. He also landed the role of Miller Collins in the comedy series Melissa & Joey which set him on the path of stardom. However, his fame became much talked about when he starred in the television series Glee where he played the role of a football player and lead vocalist Ryder from 2012-2015. He has featured in several other movies including Wurlitzer released in 2011 where he played the role of Alexander Moore, Cousin Sarah in which he starred as Brett Marks, a short film called The Truth In Being Right where he played the role of Jeffrey and he was also in the 2014 film Love at First Site where he featured as Sydney Reynold. In 2016, Blake was in the movies Everybody wants some!! as Jake Bradford, The Edge of Seventeen as Darian Franklin and Within as Tommy. The actor was also in the movie  The Vanishing of Sydney Hall, the film Billy Boy which he also wrote and produced and American Animals released in 2018.

Blake Jenner is also the proud winner of the 2013 Teen Choice Award for Choice TV- Breakout Star for the series Glee and the winner of the 2017 San Diego Film Festival award for Rising Star.

In 2012, Blake Jenner started dating his co-star in the television series Glee, who is also a singer not long after his break up from his 3-year relationship with his high school sweetheart Maria Correa who left her hometown to join him in Los Angeles where he lives. Blake and Melissa got engaged in July 2013 and after spending four years together, they tied the knot in March 2015. However, their love affair was cut short in December 2016 when Mellisa filed for a divorce which was finalized a year later in December 2017.
