Having perfected his serve as well as his smashes, it was only a matter of time before he made an impact in the game.

In 1985, Boris Becker became a force to reckon with in the world of tennis after going all the way to reach the Wimbledon finals in which he defeated Kevin Curran in four sets. About 2 months after clinching the Wimbledon title, he set another record for being the youngest male player to win the Cincinnati Open. He narrowly defeated Mats Wilander in a keenly contested final, before going on to defend his Wimbledon title successfully the following year.

Boris Becker went all the way to become one of the most successful tennis players ever.
