Borna Sosa (born January 21, 1998) is a Croatian footballer who plays as a left-back or left winger for Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and the Croatia national team.

Borna Sosa’s Career

Sosa was born to Herzegovinian Croat parents from Gradac near Posuje in Zagreb’s Preko neighborhood. He is a Dinamo Zagreb young prospect. Coach Zoran Mami gave him his Prva HNL debut for Dinamo on March 7, 2015, in a 2–0 home win over Zagreb, starting and playing the entire 90 minutes. He played the entire 90 minutes in Dinamo’s 2–1 victory over Slaven Belupo in the Croatian Cup Final on May 10, 2016. In the second qualifying round of the Champions League, he made his European debut on July 12, 2016, when coach Zlatko Kranjar substituted him for Alexandru Mățel in the 66th minute of a 2–1 victory over the Vardar in Skopje. Sosa made 41 games and six assists for Dinamo during the course of four seasons with the club.

Borna Sosa signed a five-year contract with VfB Stuttgart on May 14, 2018, allowing him to join the club on July 1.
